Hardly any techno DJ of the present-day stands so much for euphoric raving, for fulfilled moments of happiness and for explosive discharges on the dance floor as Len Faki.
When the Berliner-by-choice released his first records with the Lexicon project in the mid-90s, many of his colleagues today had not yet seen the light of day. Almost 30 years and countless releases on Ostgut Ton, Cocoon Recordings and his own label Figure later, Len has passed the test of time with flying colours.
The 46-year-old is still one of the most sought-after names in the scene worldwide and it is not for nothing that he enjoys resident status at Berghain as well as a one-month residency in 2021 at Phonox in London. In 2020, Len Faki launched a new compilation series on his well-known label Figure. "Open Space" is a collection that takes the listener on an intense and atmospheric journey, which proves to be extremely creative and emotional, and which is situated somewhere between electronica and ambient.
